The Truth
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم،
Allāh made this universe, and He, ʿazza wa jall, made our brains.
Our brains are programmable, meaning, what you feed them, what you repeat, what you train them to seek…becomes how they function.
So it follows that the best programming for the human mind is what Allāh commanded.
Because the One who made the mind is the One who gave the instructions.
The more a person aligns themselves with that guidance, the more correctly the mind operates, the clearer their priorities get, the less confusion they face, and the less illusions they chase.
Our minds shift back into their natural way of operating.
Being smart serves no better purpose than seeking the truth, and seeking the truth is what actually makes you smarter.
Why?
Simply because you’d be using the tool correctly. You’d be navigating reality and existence knowing it doesn’t revolve around you, and that you can’t actually change what’s actually out there.
If you do operate relying on your desires and wishes regardless of what’s actually right, you will keep bumping into walls and tripping and eventually jump off a cliff. Same as a thief who wants to get rich in any way possible.
The pain and suffering we get from going astray is a way to force humility into us, it forces us to drop nonsense even when our egos like that nonsense!
This, of course, does not mean everyone becomes a genius, but everyone moves closer to the best version of the intellect Allāh gave them.
And so it goes like this: The truth improves the mind, an improved mind recognizes truth more easily, rinse, and repeat.
"But...life is not that simple...".
I know, I know...that's another story, called:
The heart.
